I am Kenichi Yamamoto from the Kai no Kuni Long Trail Executive Committee.
The Kai no Kuni Long Trail runs around the Kofu Basin, connecting the mountains and the city.
As previously announced, this year the Kai no Kuni Long Trail Hiraga Jun Cup will take a step forward by opening up participation to the general public.
Along with this, we would like to purchase items such as accommodation, daily necessities, cooking supplies, and walkie-talkies for the safety of participants, which we have had to make do with borrowing until now.
Also, the Kai no Kuni Long Trail HIRAGA JUN CUP will cover a full 280km course from November 5th to 9th, but the mountains will always be there. Even if you don’t participate in the HIRAGA JUN CUP, we would like to create a book that explains the Kai no Kuni Long Trail in our own way, so that you can become interested in the mountains of Kai no Kuni and actually go to the places you want to go by yourself or with your friends. We will create a guidebook that will help you learn in a fun way, including recommended routes, history, anecdotes, and how to walk.
Accordingly, we would like to raise the necessary funds through crowdfunding.
