Event Details
- Each day is a group activity with stages. (It is not a race. No time measurement is done.)
- Each day, take a bath, have dinner, and get a good night’s sleep.
- We will set up five large tents (with four stoves) and sleep overnight in them.
- Meals are provided in a catered kitchen and eaten inside the tents.
- Luggage for overnight stays can be left with the organizers in bags of a designated size and will be transported to your next accommodation or hot spring.
- Bathing is available at Mitomi Onsen, Shimobe Onsen, and Ashiyasu Onsen. (Sauna is available at the lily of the valley colony.)
- Approximately 10 support athletes will accompany participants on the same course to provide support.
Rules and Notes
- There is a time limit for passing through each aid station, and if the time is exceeded, participants will not be able to proceed to the next section. Participants who exceed the time limit will board a vehicle prepared by the organizers and warp to the next aid station to resume their activities. They do not have to resume their activities. (See the details of each day of the itinerary above for the time limit)
- Participants will be required to download a designated file containing route information between one month and the day before the event so that they can view it on their own devices on the day of the event.
- There will be no course markings or guide signs.
- Please follow the route provided. For safety reasons, please do not take a different route.
About the natural environment
- The course of this event is held in the areas designated as Southern Alps National Park, Chichibu Tama Kai National Park, and Fuji Hakone Izu National Park. Please be sure to fully understand the purpose of the event before participating, so as not to adversely affect the forest ecosystem.
- Please stay on the hiking trails as this may cause damage to the vegetation. Collecting stones, fallen leaves, etc., and damaging plants are prohibited.
- Please help by cleaning the soles of your shoes to prevent the introduction of invasive species.
- Please be mindful of your manners and be considerate so as not to interfere with other climbers.
- Please do not throw away any rubbish.
- Please use the toilet in designated areas whenever possible. If unavoidable, please use a portable toilet.
- Please follow instructions regarding walking areas, areas where the use of walking trekking poles is prohibited, etc.
- Taking shortcuts on the hiking trails is prohibited as it will damage the vegetation.
About emergency care
- Please act with a spirit of self-help and mutual aid.
- If an incident occurs that you are unable to handle on your own, you will wait where you are until a support athletes arrives and follow his/her instructions. If it is determined that outside rescue is necessary depending on the situation, an ambulance may be called. In that case, the participant receiving rescue will be responsible for any expenses incurred.
- In case of an emergency, contact the police or fire department directly.
- The organizers will provide temporary support to the extent possible for injuries or accidents, but will not provide any further support thereafter.
- The organizers have the right to suspend or cancel any participant’s activities due to illness, injury, accidents, or other serious incidents.
- The organizers will take out accident insurance, but we also recommend that individuals take out insurance as well.

Participants
20 general participants, 5 invited participants, and approximately 10 support athletes, totaling approximately 35 people
Application Criteria
Those who have carefully read the course profile for each day and are confident that they can complete the course. Those who can sleep in a tent using a sleeping bag.
Participation Fee
150,000 yen (not included in the price: transportation to the venue, dinner on November 4th, hot springs, dinner on November 9th)
Application and Selection
April 1st to May 31st, 2025 (If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, a lottery will be held on June 15th)
