300 miles from Yamanashi Prefecture border
Photographer Hiraga was to follow (and photograph) the entire project by himself, tracing the Yamanashi Prefecture border and going all the way around in a counterclockwise direction.
The starting point is Kobuchizawa Station in Hokuto City. The route goes south from the northern part of the Southern Alps, joins the Southern Alps Front Trail, passes through the Tenshi Mountains, Mt. Fuji, Doshi, Uenohara, Hasetsune Course, Okuchichibu, and Yatsugatake, and returns to Kobuchizawa Station. The loop is about 480 km. The planned 9 days…
