This is a record of my first time completing a full loop of the Kai no kuni long trail in 2020.
“Into the unknown territory Kai no kuni long trail_200MILE”
This time, I took a slightly larger route than I currently have planned and enjoyed about 200 miles.
The beautiful scenery, the tough night sections, the steep slopes, my relationship with my partner Kikushima Kei, the strange time schedule, the support runners who came to my aid (Oyamada Ryuji, Mochizuki Shogo, Tani Masaya, Kato Junichi, Shimura Hiroki, Aoki Mitsuhiro, Okamura Kou), and my interactions with Michiu, Akuta and Tachi from Team Yamamoto, who I could trust completely at any time, no matter what.
The inserted song is “No Matter How Old You Are” by my student @kagamiyujiro Kagami Yujiro, which is also very touching.
The book also features the thoughts of Jun Hiraga, the person who first came up with the idea, about the Kaikoku Long Trail.
This is a fantastic 1 hour 48 minute piece created with all the love and effort from everyone at @denpa_by_rightupinc.
Nearly five years have passed since then, but thanks to this work I can travel the Kaikoku Long Trail whenever I want with the same feelings I had back then.
